3 Ways You Can Benefit from Our Certificate Program
Looking for more structure in your learning experience?
The newly-launched ArtistWorks Certificate Program is a comprehensive, 12-week online program where players of all levels learn step-by-step how to master their instrument. The program will challenge you, test your knowledge and playing skills, and shape you into a better player and musician.
Separate from the more casual self-paced style of learning found in traditional ArtistWorks courses, the Certificate Program provides students with measured progress — including quizzes and video assessments — and a physical, signed certificate from the teacher after successful completion of the course.
The program is currently offered for two instruments: Ukulele, taught by Craig Chee and Sarah Maisel, and Blues Guitar, taught by Keith Wyatt.
Here are three ways you could benefit from the Certificate Program:
Validate and Deepen Your Skills
When learning an instrument, it's essential to get feedback and check in on your progress. Now, imagine getting your playing validated by a master musician? Plus, your skills will be tested with quizzes and video evaluations in weeks 4 and 8. At week 12, you'll take a final quiz and submit a final video for review.
Fill in Skill Gaps
Our Certificate Program is specially designed to fill in any skill gaps you may have. The 12 weeks of online music lessons demonstrate, analyze, and put techniques and concepts into context, giving you all the knowledge you need on necessary building blocks like music theory, improvisation and ear training.
Bring Structure to Your Practice
Practice is imperative to improvement, and structure is imperative to practice. The Certificate Program offers weekly study materials, sight reading exercises and an extensive musical terms glossary to help you help round out your knowledge and fine-tune your development.
