3rd Times the Charm: Playing 3rds on Banjo
Tony Trischka has new banjo lessons in store, and you don't want to miss them!
In this new Intermediate lesson, Tony took parts of the "Cumberland Moutain Bear Chase" from Uncle Dave Macon to create an exercise to help you build on your familiarity with 3rds and get some great Osbourne Roll practice. The lesson is complete with tablature too. Student's can access this lesson here.
That's not all Tony has in store for his students, he also added a new advanced lesson where he teaches a Brazilian Choro tune on the banjo. The choro sound is a beautiful and unique style of music and the banjo gives it an even more fresh sound. This is a challenging piece to tackle but Tony spends some time really breaking it down over the course of 3 video parts and has written out tablature to help you find the notes too. Check it out here. Happy picking!
