ArtistWorks @ NAMM 2014
This January, along with round-eared Disney goers, 1,533 exhibiting companies representing 5,010 brands also swarmed Anaheim, California. There were 96,129 registered visitors at NAMM and countless artists of every kind - from living room singer/songwriters to heavy metal superstars and even Stevie Wonder-ful himself.
Four floors were packed with music lovers and the ArtistWorks booth was right in the thick of it – we talked with resellers around the world about our awesome new credit-card-sized online lesson access cards (which can now be sold in-store, on or off-line) - and we had a blast.
As our current members know, it’s what those cards represent that we were really there to talk about. Several of our teaching artists met there for the first time to make some spontaneous all-star quality music and to help promote their schools.
We had an unbelievable NAMM jam session between Martin Taylor and Paul Gilbert:

Surrounding us on the show floor were some of the most gorgeous looking and sounding instruments from all over the world as well as musical accessories that you never knew existed! Some were old school and handmade, others used cutting-edge technology – all were interesting and many were awe-inspiring.
As for ArtistWorks, we went to NAMM to expose music instrument resellers to our idea. We can provide our amazing online Video Exchange™ music lessons to their customers who've never been exposed to the joys of learning online with a master – for around a dollar a day. One of our current members of the Bluegrass Guitar School with Bryan Sutton came by the booth and summed it up like this: "It's like taking golf lessons with Tiger Woods!". We are changing the way people think about music and online learning – making mastery attainable to those who could never before access this quality of education.
Whether you sign up online or pick up an access card from your favorite muscal instrument reseller, it’s an exciting time and place to be a part of ArtistWorks! Join us.
