ArtistWorks Summer Series—Week 2: Martin Taylor
Welcome to the second week of the ArtistWorks Summer Series! Every week this summer, we’ll be dropping new lessons, performances, study materials, and more from some of your favorite ArtistWorks teachers.
This week, we’re excited to debut nearly a dozen brand new online jazz guitar lessons from Grammy-nominated guitarist, Member of the Order of the British Empire, and ArtistWorks fingerstyle jazz guitar teacher, Martin Taylor.
Martin’s new lessons offer material for players of all levels—covering topics designed for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players alike. With these new lessons, Martin's course now features a total of over 50 hours of video content, and that doesn’t even include the more than 4,000 Video Exchanges you can also learn from.
Alongside Martin’s video instruction, these lessons include brand new learning materials to supplement Martin’s teaching, including tablature, notated exercises, written charts, and more. Furthermore, in addition to lessons on a variety of new techniques and concepts, Martin also teaches how to play two brand new tunes: “Only a Paper Moon” and “Watch What Happens.”
Want to dive in and start playing right away? Check out this online jazz guitar lesson from Martin’s assortment of new videos in which he teaches the fundamentals of a Bossa Nova feel, and how to create an authentic, infectious groove.
