Back in the MTGA Studio
I'm back in the MTGA studio after 2 weeks in Sri Lanka.
This was my fourth visit to Sri Lanka. This trip was a mixture of work and vacation.
I'm the UK patron of the My Wish Foundation, a charity that grants wishes to terminally ill children and gives support to their families.
We played a charity concert for My Wish to a capacity audience at the new Nelum Pokona Auditorium, a magnificent concert hall in Colombo, and I made many TV appearances to promote the charity.
Liz and I were invited for tea at the President's House with Sri Lanka's First Lady who is the Sri Lankan patron of My Wish, and we visited the National Cancer Hospital where we distributed toys to the children and met their parents.
It was difficult to film responses while I was in Sri Lanka, the internet was very weak when I was in the south of the country, then I returned to Colombo to discover I had no internet access at all. So, for the last 4 days of my visit I was unable to keep in touch with the MTGA and the outside world.
Anyway, I'm now back in the studio and have started filming responses again.
I'm glad you're enjoying the Guitar Conversations with Julian Lage, he is one of the most amazing musicians I've ever met, I will be posting a new Message soon and there are more Coffee Breaks to come.
The first batch of Guided Arrangements will be up soon, so let's all get working together. It's good to be back!
