Jazz Guitar Update: New School Opens in March!
Attention jazz guitarists! We have some exciting news to share. At the end of March, we will be launching the ArtistWorks Jazz Guitar School with Dave Stryker!
Dave Stryker brings a wealth of jazz guitar performance and teaching experience to ArtistWorks. Beyond creating chart topping jazz hits and recording over 28 records, Dave has long been passionate about sharing his musical knowledge. In addition to writing the book, “Dave Stryker’s Jazz Guitar Improvisation Method”, Dave teaches music at Indiana University and Montclair State University. For the ArtistWorks Jazz Guitar School, he has recorded hundreds of lessons, tablature, and backing tracks for all musical levels. Dave’s curriculum builds upon itself, following clear logic that any player can benefit from.
Here are all the details you need to know as we make this transition:
1. Since Chuck Loeb's passing, we’ve kept the ArtistWorks Jazz Guitar School with Chuck Loeb open. Thanks to Dave Stryker, we've been able to offer Video Exchange learning for all of you. However, this was only a temporary arrangement - and it's time for the next chapter.
2. We will transition the Jazz Guitar School with Chuck Loeb into a “library only” school on March 27th. This means that the lessons and existing Video Exchanges will still be available to watch, but students will no longer be able to exchange videos with Dave Stryker.
3. On March 27th, you will have access to both Jazz Guitar with Dave Stryker and Jazz Guitar with Chuck Loeb. Your auto-renewal will be transferred to the Jazz Guitar School with Dave Stryker. You will continue to have access to the Chuck Loeb school until your renewal date, at which time you’ll have the option to re-join Chuck’s school at the lower, library-only rate.
We’re excited to introduce our newest Jazz Guitar curriculum, while also providing a home for the lessons that Chuck worked so hard to create. Stay tuned for more information about the launch of our new Jazz Guitar school with Dave Stryker in late March.
