Tony was a busy man at Rockygrass last year! In addition to playing with the ArtistWorks Bluegrass All-Stars and making appearances with many other groups throughout the festival, Tony sat down with banjo player extrodinarre, Alison Brown for over and hour of discussion and jamming! Alison is a Grammy award winner, an IBMA award winner, a member of the all-female bluegrass band The First Ladies of Bluegrass, and she co-founded Compass Records, the home of many high profile names in the Folk music world. They talk about Alison's Deering banjo, "The Julia Belle", women in Bluegrass, musical influences, and much more.
