Born in Atlanta, GA, Michael Daves has been hailed by the New York Times as “a leading light of the New York bluegrass scene,” and has worked with legends like Chris Thile, Steve Martin and Tony Trischka.

Guitarist and mandolinist Peter Rowan needs no introduction. A true bluegrass legend, Rowan has played in bands with the Grateful Dead’s Jerry Garcia, mandolin giant David Grisman and wrote the hit song “Panama Red” for the New Riders of the Purple Sage. He is also the recipient of six Grammy nominations throughout his storied career, and won for his contributions to the bluegrass compilation, True Life Blues: The Songs of Bill Monroe.
Alice Gerrard has been singing and playing guitar, banjo and old-time fiddle on more than 20 recordings in a career that has spanned five decades. She has won numerous honors, including an International Bluegrass Music Association Distinguished Achievement Award and has played with a stunning array of old-time and bluegrass greats.
