Last week I played a concert at the Edinburgh Jazz Festival with my friend Curtis Stigers. Curtis and I had been talking about working together for some time now. We're both big fans of the recordings that Tony Bennett made with the legendary jazz pianist Bill Evans, so we tried to capture the beautiful laid back vibe that they had on those recordings.

As many of you already know, I am a great admirer of Bill Evans and have been very influenced and inspired by his musical approach and have worked towards adapting his piano style onto solo guitar.

Alison Burns joined us for one song, singing a duet with Curtis, and we plan more of these concerts in the future.
