It's almost summer and I know you have that beach list of books you want to read, but get that bass out instead and beef up your practice time!  Watch my new message for some ways to organize your practice time and get the most out of it.

  I've been trying to manage practicing, recording, touring and gardening all at the same time- whew-   At least the gardening is kind of on it's own now... there either will be tomatos or there won't be, it's out of my hands.  But the practicing never ends and I like it that way.  I feel better when I've had my bass with me in my hands for a long time.  

  Here's hoping you are getting that feeling too.  Let me know your practice routine.

  I'm headed to Kansas City, I'll be playing Knuckleheads on Thursday, May 31st with my band- and then we'll be at Swallow Hill in Denver CO on Friday, June 1st.   If you are in either of those areas, come on out!
