No matter how busy Mike gets, he always makes time to be a teacher, too. Among his many projects, he also leads the Acoustic Music Seminar at the Savannah Music Festival. This program brings young string players together with masters in the field for a week-long mentorship in playing, songwriting and ensemble work. The finale is the "Stringband Spectacular", a performance featuring the compositions and arrangements of the students themselves. The results are truly amazing and inspirational.
