Shortkut did an in depth interview on Primat City TV that is really worth checking out, it doesn't have many views so chances are good you haven't seen it. Short talks about how he starting DJing in 1987 at age 12, his first crew Just 2 Hype, early days with the Invisibl Skratch Piklz, ISP vs. the X-Men, the Beat Junkies, Triple Threat, working with Vestax, and much much more! 

As a bonus, I've included a link to Shortkut's masterpeice of a mixtape, Rekonstrukted Elements, which came out in 1998. If you've never heard this, you're in for a treat.
