Summer Bluegrass Events Not to Miss
Summer's here and that means it's time for some of the greatest bluegrass festivals in the world. If you're heading out to any, be sure to stay hydrated and sunscreened. Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival: July 13-16
Located in upstate New York in the Catskill Mountains, this is a long running festival and great opportunity to camp out and hear some bluegrass for a few days. Click here for more info.

Swannanoa Gathering: July 3 - August 6
The Swannanoa Gathering takes place every summer in the Blueridge Mountains of North Carolina at Warren Wilson College. Attendees can register in advance for a series of week long educational workshops. This year check out the Fiddle Week which is running concurrent with the Mando & Banjo Week. RockyGrass Festival: July 28-30
Located in Lyons, Colorado along the Saint Vrain River, this is definitlely one you want to camp for. This year marks the 45th year, and the sixth year ArtistWorks has been a sponsor. Click here for more info.

The Marshall Mandolin Summit: August 17-20
This four-day mandolin experience is held in the beautiful and historic Marshall, Michigan and offers performances, fine foods, community, and musical education led by some of the very best mandolin players in the world. Click here for more info.

IBMA's World of Bluegrass: September 26-30
The International Bluegrass Music Association hosts their annual World of Bluegrass in Raleigh, North Carolina in September. As the banner suggests, this is a week of bluegrass like no other that features performances, workshops, the IBMA award show, and a lot more. If you're attending be sure to bring your instruments because you'll find people jamming wherever you look. Click here for more info.
