Update from Chuck Loeb: New album with Eric Marienthal Released
Hello Everyone!
It's been a pretty busy summer for me, between touring, production and CD releases. My collaboration CD with ArtistWorks' recent addition, saxophonist Eric Marienthal, "Bridges" dropped last Friday. It is a project I am super proud of which also features ArtistWorks jazz bass instructor John Patitucci, and I hope you guys check it out.
Also -- we just mixed and mastered the Fourplay 25th Anniversary CD "Silver", and it is all set for a U.S. release in November. It features the core group of Bob James, ArtistWorks' own Nathan East, Harvey Mason and myself -- along with special guests Lee Ritenour, Larry Carlton & Kirk Whalum.

We will be doing a tour of Japan and Korea, where the CD comes out in September, then Europe and then we finish up with some Stateside gigs including our annual week at The New York Blue Note December 1st thru 6th. Check the website for details and come on out to a show in your area and say hey!
As if that wasn't enough, we just went into production on "Jazz Funk Soul II" with Everette Harp and Jeff Lorber. That will be a 2016 release but we have some gigs sprinkled in this Fall too.
I look forward to some great new VE's and thanks to all the great ones that you've sent in -- awesome stuff.
All the best for now and see you 'round campus,
CL
