This video features our master banjo player, Tony Trischka as he interviews world renowned musician, Richie Stearns. Best known as the “transcendentally claw-hammering force of nature”, Richie has traveled to the far reaches of the world, performing both traditional tracks and his own original music along with an array of with high caliber artists.

In Part 1 of their interview, Richie discusses how he was introduced to the banjo, the first song that he ever learned, as well as his evolution of clawhammer paired with his right hand approach. He also plays a little teaser of, “Long Journey Home.” Click HERE for the video, enjoy!
