ArtistWorks Celebrates 13 Years of Teaching the World Music
We’re excited to announce that this month marks ArtistWorks’ 13th anniversary providing world-class online music lessons to players of all instruments, genres, and skill levels with an unwavering goal to “Teach the World Music.”
ArtistWorks was founded in 2008 with a vision of providing anyone, anywhere in the world with affordable, interactive access to some of the greatest music teachers on the planet. Our mission is to "Teach the World Music," and through our comprehensive online music lessons, patented Video Exchange Learning® platform, and faculty of master musicians, we’ve made a difference for musicians across the globe.
Since our inception in 2008, ArtistWorks has grown substantially. We opened our virtual doors with just a small handful of courses and, by 2009, offered comprehensive, interactive online music lessons teaching jazz guitar, fingerstyle guitar, bluegrass banjo, classical piano, harmonica, and even DJ scratching.
Since then, ArtistWorks has expanded to offer courses taught by 40 world-renowned, award-winning master musicians, who provide their musical guidance and expertise to thousands of students in over 80 countries around the world. Through our Video Exchange Learning® platform, our master faculty is able to work directly with their students and provide personal guidance and feedback at every step of the musical journey. Students can also learn from each other by tapping into our expansive Video Exchange library of over 80,000 lesson videos.
