Auditions for The Voice
If you're interested in auditioning for the breakout hit singing show of 2012, The Voice, then you better get going. Auditions run all through January and February.
To help you get started, this singing lesson can give some pretty instant improvement to your tone and projection while working directly with one of your audition songs. It’s amazing how “taking your tongue out of the equation” can make such a dramatic difference in the your sound and ease of singing.
There are hundreds of singing lessons, techniques and exercise that Jeannie uses in the ArtistWorks Online Vocal School that remove barriers and get you in touch with how your body works to make you sing naturally, with more range and better pitch. The best part is that you can submit practice videos to Jeannie and she will respond with video feedback focused on improving your singing fast. It’s like having a personal vocal coach for performances, singing competitions and more.
While The Voice is doing open call auditions in January and February, they take video auditions year round. You can click here for information about submitting videos to the Voice.
They are looking for solo artists that perform all types of music: pop, rock, R&B, hip-hop, alternative, latin, country, blues, indie. They want to know your story and why you are The Voice. But, they hold the bar high on what they're looking for in each singer, so voice training and song performance development is a key factor.
