Beginner Acoustic Guitar: Two Simple Tips for Players

It’s easy to think you can teach yourself something difficult, like learning how to play guitar. The idea of being self-taught is especially appealing if getting help involves hearing criticism - no matter how well-meaning it is. But you might want to ask yourself something before you decide to go it alone: If I get stuck or hit a plateau, do I know enough to get myself out of it?
