We are excited to announce that, after facilitating a fantastic five-day musical event this past June, Grammy Award-winning guitarist and ArtistWorks bluegrass guitar instructor, Bryan Sutton, will once again be hosting his Blue Ridge Guitar Camp in 2023 from May 31 through June 4.

Located in Brevard, NC on the western end of the state at the entrance of the Pisgah National Forest, Bryan’s guitar summit will be a five-day celebration of bluegrass and all things guitar. During the retreat, attendees will call the beautiful, newly-renovated Brevard Music Center home.

Featuring multiple auditoriums, numerous large rehearsal spaces, over 100 practice rooms, on-site housing and dining, and outdoor recreation areas, the Brevard Music Center offers not only world-class performance facilities but a remote, picturesque setting that’s sure to inspire days of creativity and music-making.

“I was fortunate to grow up in the mountains of Western North Carolina, surrounded by family and friends sharing in rich musical tradition,” Bryan explains. “A big part of this experience was the impactful and lasting instruction I received. I’m thrilled to host the Blue Ridge Guitar Camp in Brevard, NC.”

After two years of waiting as a result of the pandemic, Bryan kicked off his first annual Blue Ridge Guitar Camp in June 2022. Teaching alongside Bryan were guest instructors and fellow guitar masters David Grier, Courtney Hartman, Grant Gordy, and Michael Daves, who is also a member of our faculty and teaches bluegrass vocals here at ArtistWorks.

Joining Bryan in teaching at the camp in 2023 will be esteemed acoustic guitar players Marcel Ardans, Courtney Hartman, Matt Munisteri, Jake Eddy, and fellow ArtistWorks bluegrass guitar instructor, Chris Eldridge.

“I’m passionate about all aspects of bluegrass guitar and love sharing what I’ve learned,” explains Bryan. “It’s a real joy to help people realize their potential. We’ve got a great crew of instructors helping to make this an experience like no other.”
