In this new beginner lesson,Guthrie Trapp gives students his thoughts on rhythm, playing in time, and ways to lock into the music.

There are two parts to the lesson! Guthrie offers several different approaches and ideas to help students adapt and continue to expand into their own variations. As students start to get comfortable with the exercises, Guthrie suggests slowly increasing the metronome speed to build up playing speed.

Bonus: Tablature is included so students can see exactly what notes Guthrie plays in the exercises.
