Live with Mike Block and Richard Aaron
While the future of live music may seem uncertain for the time being, that isn’t stopping us from bringing your favorite musicians directly to your homes!
On the next episode of our new live streamed series “Live Dispatch from Home,” ArtistWorks Marcus Luscombe will be joined by cello legend Mike Block, as well as Richard Aaron who serves as professor of cello at the University of Michigan, The Juilliard School and The Robert McDuffie Center for Strings. These two masters of their crafts will be sharing their thoughts and performing live music. Plus, they'll be taking questions from the audience, so come prepared with yours. All are welcome!
Mike Block is a pioneering cello player, singer, composer, and educator, hailed by Yo-Yo Ma as the "ideal musician of the 21st-Century." He has collaborated in performance and recordings with Stevie Wonder, Bon Iver, Will.i.am, St. Vincent, The National, The New York Philharmonic, as well as ArtistWorks instructors Mike Marshall and Darol Anger.
Tune in to our Facebook page on Thursday, November 12th at 4:30PM Pacific Time to watch the show, and keep an eye out for more live broadcasts in the coming weeks!
