Since beginning his professional music career at 18, Mike Marshall has become a pillar in the world of acoustic music. Not only is Mike an icon of the mandolin, but he’s also a master of the mandocello, violin, and guitar, a mentor to countless bluegrass, jazz, classical, and even Brazilian Choro artists, and an inspiration to innumerable musicians around the globe.

Since joining the ArtistWorks roster as our instructor of bluegrass mandolin in 2011, Mike has played an integral role in helping us achieve our mission—to “Teach the World Music”—and continues to bring his passion, dedication, and musical mastery to his online instruction.
