NAMM 2015
NAMM is the largest most prestigeous Music Industry Trade Show in the world.
It is not open to the general public, and thousands of companies and musicians (such as Stevie Wonder) attend. It takes place each year in Southern California. This year as I did last year, I attended through my membership in the Grammy's.
I had several on camera interviews includng some interviews about different singer-gear at company booths such as Sennheiser, TC-Helicon and Hercules Stands.
I also had meetings with a number of other mic and music equipment companies.
A number of companies will be sending me new equipment to test and review which I'll share with all my ArtistWorks voice students as it happens.
For many years I've been working to educate singers on what gear is needed for performance and how to use it to compliment your voice and performance. So I'm excited to share that ElectroVoice has asked me to field test their new line of mics in preparation for their public release scheduled for next year's NAMM!
Much more to come - but suffice it to say, it was a very busy and very exciting show!
Here I am at ElectroVoice's booth along with their head of technology.
