Next week, award-winning master guitarist, internationally-renowned shred guitar icon, co-founder of bands Racer X and Mr. Big, and ArtistWorks rock guitar instructor, Paul Gilbert, will be hosting his sixth ever Great Guitar Escape event, a 4-day immersive guitar experience at the Kellogg West Conference Center in Pomona, CA.

Held from July 28 through August 1, 2022, the Great Guitar Escape is an event for guitar players of all ages and levels, as well as music lovers, guitar enthusiasts, and more. Joining Paul at the Escape will be fellow ArtistWorks instructor, blues rock guitar virtuoso, Jared James Nichols, as well as veteran TrueFire and JamPlay teachers Andy Timmons, Gretchen Menn, Greg Koch, Mike Keneally, and more.

“Some of my closest friends and favorite all-time players will be with us, including Great Guitar Escape veterans Andy Timmons, George Lynch, and Greg Howe,” explains Paul. “We’ll also be joined by some players that I’ve been following for a while. Jared James Nichols is really fiery, taking the style that was born with Hendrix and continued into the 70s, classic high-energy blues rock guitar playing. It’s so nice to see a younger guy really getting a grip on that sound and putting his own thing into it as well.”
