Pioneering Bass Player George Shuffler to be inducted to the IBMA Hall of Fame

George Shuffler, early bassist and guitarist with the Stanley Brothers, will be inducted into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame along with the legendary Del McCoury, Thursday, Sept 29, 2011 at the Ryman Auditorium, Nashville TN.

George is known for his walking bass lines and his bluesy finger-picking guitar style which influenced a generation of players including original Country Gentlemen bassist, Tom Gray. For more info http://ibmaawards.org/
