Tony Trischka Talks Banjo on NJTV

banjo lessonsTony Trischka, "one of the most influential banjo players in the world" dropped by NJTV to talk about all things banjo. Tony goes into how important the Earl Scruggs influence remains, as well as being inspired to learn banjo after hearing the banjo solo in the song "Charlie and the MTA" by the Kingston Trio. He talks about his bluegrass roots and plays some of "Cripple Creek", and also goes into his interest in different styles of music like jazz, rock, and classical. Watch the full interview below!

"It's like any other instrument like a guitar where you can play rock, classical or jazz… the banjo's the same way."
