better blog 2

With many of us staying home and practicing social distancing for the time being, one silver lining is that we now have much more free time to practice music. Whether you’re taking our online music lessons or practicing on your own, it may be tempting to crank your volume up to eleven and really jam out. However, we need to be respectful of those around us, especially during these trying times.

Hello ArtistWorks students,

We’re pleased that you’ve found us and have a safe place to learn music online while exercising “social distancing”. Yes we have to stay at home, but we don’t have to disconnect. I’ve shared a few thoughts about learning at ArtistWorks during this stressful time, so please take a look at the video. During this crisis period we want to make coming here to learn music a bit more affordable. Please keep an eye on the home page of ArtistWorks.com for discounts we’ll continue to offer. Now is a great time to invite a friend to join you here! You’re all welcome here and I hope this video is helpful to your learning experience. If you need us, we can be reached at 1-800-326-5596 or support@artistworks.com.

Musically Yours,

Patricia Butler, CEO

Hello Trumpet Students!

After careful consideration and discussion, along with Dave Bilger, we have decided the Trumpet Course will no longer accept Video Submissions from students. Right now, there are 7 videos in Dave's queue.  He's recuperated enough from some very extensive surgery and welcoming a brand new baby into the family, to respond to each of the videos.  The following students will have Video Exchanges completed soon:

Henrique Weege

Joseph Kuhn

We took a trip to Anaheim, CA, for the annual NAMM Show. An extravaganza of musical instrument displays, incredible concerts, educational panels and so much more, NAMM allows attendees to get up close and personal with what’s going on with the gear, artists and people that are integral to the music-making industry.

The show is too big for any one person to catch it all, but we thought that sharing some highlights might give you a bit of insight into what makes NAMM such a high-energy show.
