Tonight we play in beautiful Passau on the Danube, tomorrow in Berlin, then Bayreuth, and then on to other places, finishing in Zagreb. The schedule is up on my Facebook pages. I hope to see some of you. And be patient- I will answer videos as soon as I can, on a day when we have a short drive.

Finally, after more than 30 years, my first album is available on CD and downloads. It is the first Jazz album ever recorded on diatonic harmonica, and it still sounds good 33 years after it was recorded. https://store.cdbaby.com/cd/howardlevy5

Watching Aretha's funeral. It's wonderful. She does good even in death. Her life was a blessing to the world, a constant presence in all of our lives for so long, gifting us with her soul and sharing her emotions so openly through her singing. Her presence is eternal. There are many great singers, but there is only one Aretha. Personally, listening to her singing helped get me through some tough times in my life. I think she changed the world and today the world honors her. Long live The Queen of Soul.

We are starting up tomorrow after a short break. On our Northeastern US and Canada tour, the band received the Miles Davis Award from The Montreal Jazz Festival,

a great honor.  Looking forward to seeing some of you in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Washington State, and Oregon.
