On December 11, 2021, world-renowned banjo player and ArtistWorks bluegrass banjo instructor, Tony Trischka, will be hosting a virtual, livestreamed solo performance through which he’ll be showcasing banjo repertoire and instruments spanning the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries. Powered by Mandolin and sponsored by Valley Stage Productions, this event is sure to be perfect for banjo, bluegrass, and music lovers alike.

“My banjos and I welcome you to a filmed musical journey, Tony Trischka: A Treasure of Banjos,” exclaims Tony in his recent event announcement. “Join us to hear the 5-String in the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries, from the Parlor to Earl Scruggs to the Beatles and beyond!”

Following the performance, Tony has arranged a VIP live Q&A during which attendees can meet the banjo master himself, ask him questions, and enjoy additional exclusive instrumental performances.

Alongside the Q&A, Tony will be demonstrating some of the techniques that he teaches in his online banjo lessons here at ArtistWorks.

“This will be an interactive session,” Tony explains. “I’ll be responding to questions, sharing stories, and demonstrating some of my playing techniques.”
